This is our newest addition to our practice, her name is Dharma, meaning in Buddhist teachings, "Pathway to Enlightenment".  Dharma turned 1 on April 19th. Dharma is a Samoyed, which are known for their intelligence, loyalty and desire to please and be with people. Dharma was chosen very deliberately for her temperament and personality traits. She is also hypoaltergenic, so do not let her fluffy self fool you. The Samoyed has hair not fur, and sheds minimally. She loves being petted and brushed. She is quick to pick up on others feelings.

Dharma earned her Good Citizen Certificate and is a Certified Therapy Dog earning her degree from the National Institute of Dog Therapy. Dharma frequents the office upon request and seems to calm people and their anxieties. Dharma also goes into schools, hospitals, hospice and assisted living facilities.
